Matters such as PoE Currency

I'm on the fence with matters such as PoE Currency this. I whole heartedly feel that effort reward. I am the type of runescape player who will do well with ability rotations and switches, but the majority of the time I can't be bothered and end up doing semi-afk revolution. On the flip side, I completely believe that those that are willing to become sweaty and switch just like mad men, ought to be rewarded with faster kills, etc., the runescape game absolutely wants a system that works, is responsive and reliable, but what I believe it needs above that, is a proper and optionally in-depth tutorial for studying the runescape game and it's variety of mechanisms.

Create a new one from scratch which does a proper job introducing the match and they will need to ditch Ashdale as the tutorial. For helping facilitate you into other 14, then, make obvious guides or paths. Fixing those things (among several other things I would imagine) would be a massive help with not just bringing in new runescape players with mobile, but also keeping them playing. They did some tests and found that more runescape players stuck around when they were shipped to guide island so the change was made around the center of 2018. The changes are not all that big but it has the same rework from beneath tides that are cursed.

I don't feel that you're giving MTX enough credit tbh, a number of these games that are doing really really well that have lots of MTX are distinct to RS in a few ways - they don't have any end goal in terms of progress, there isn't any 5.4b xp mark where you go oh shit okay there is nothing more which MTX can get me and then you go oh fuck jesus christ I wasted plenty of money on thisparticular Games with this rather MTX model do not have an end point and that's by design, people that spin 5.4b (or even max/a couple 99s/120s ect) are met with an emptiness that is somewhat unparalleled and therefore they will stop after they fulfill that aim, other games don't have that kinda objective.

Similarly other games largely had MTX within their beginning, RS runescape players are largely conservative in nature (though you could argue that this has changed recently) and so enormous changes like including MTX and making the runescape game mostly MTX centric will push them off, and it's in droves, to OSRS. Prefer simplicity that's evident in OSRS' runescape player count. I don't feel that you're fully correct though, as others have said one of those matters with RS3 is that you can make it as simple or as complicated as you desire.

If it's something you could play the heritage interface style with the excess activity bar now and throw full revo on and be nice for every single boss ingame, you're not gont get kill time documents but surely everything is available to you, particularly with hotkeys, I think that is what they have been going for with RS3, having the ability to customize everything but certainly due to this the skill ceiling is remarkably high and possibly not having the ability to master the runescape game for a number of people PoE exalted orb is offputting and they'd like not to be there, however I do not believe you have much of a debate there.
