Failure to submit willingness will result in exclusion from Round-2 counselling.
As per Clause 2.6 of the Chhattisgarh Medical Postgraduate Admission Rules, 2025, candidates who have taken admission through counselling will not be permitted to register again in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
All previously registered eligible candidates must complete fresh choice filling within the prescribed dates, as the choices filled earlier have been automatically nullified, meaning the choice selection has become vacant. Therefore, re-selection of institutions is mandatory to participate in Round-2 counselling.
If a candidate does not fill choices again, seat allotment will not be possible in Round 2.
Candidates who had earlier selected only Government Medical Colleges, but now wish to opt for Private Medical Colleges in the upcoming counselling rounds, must pay the difference in registration and security deposit amount as prescribed. Only after making the additional payment will such candidates be eligible to select Private Medical Colleges.
If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round-2 or any subsequent round and does not take admission, or takes admission and later resigns, then the security deposit paid by the candidate shall be forfeited.
Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to select only those colleges during choice filling in which they are genuinely willing to take admission.
