The standard Omega Seamaster Diver 300M doesn't perform particularly well in the market, but several models in the series are worth noting for their unique appeal. One such model is the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Limited Edition (available in Milanese and NATO versions), created in 2019 to coincide with the release of the 25th James Bond film, *No Way Out*. Interestingly, this watch was initially intended to coincide with the release of *No Way Out* the following year. However, due to the pandemic, the film's release was repeatedly delayed, finally hitting theaters in Taiwan on September 30, 2021. This premature release of the watch somewhat awkwardly diminished its initial buzz.
Returning to the watch itself, its design is quite intriguing. Firstly, it's one of the few Omega Seamaster Diver 300M clone models to feature a titanium case, and the choice of either a Milanese or NATO strap is also relatively rare. Secondly, it was actually worn by the lead actor, Daniel Craig, in the film. It's said that Daniel Craig and the film's production team provided input during the watch's development, evident in the 007-related numbers and symbols on the dial and case back, making the watch more closely resemble the needs of a spy in the movie. Unlike Omega's previous designs for prop watches used in 007 films, the commercially available Seamaster Diver 300M 007 limited edition has a much smaller difference between the version used in the film and the commercial version. Therefore, many people who watched the movie back then specifically wanted to buy this watch to wear the same timepiece as their idol.
Another Omega Seamaster Diver 300M was a commemorative model launched in 2022 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Bond film series. At that time, the brand released both a stainless steel version and a Canopus Gold™ version. The latter, in addition to having a precious metal case, also had gemstones and diamonds set on the bezel, which was basically far beyond the budget of the average person to buy a watch, so it will not be included in this observation for the time being. The stainless steel version also has many selling points. For example, it features a Milanese bracelet, which is rare in the series. The design of this watch actually combines the features of two watches from Omega's first official watch for the Bond film series, "GoldenEye," and the most recent Bond film, "No Way Out." For example, the bezel is now made of aluminum, and the wave pattern on the dial returns to the small wave design of the early Seamaster Diver 300M. In addition, it also removes the date display, just like the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 limited edition. There are two other key features that cannot be missed: the number 60 at the 12 o'clock position on the bezel replaces the inverted triangle mark (highlighting the 60th anniversary). The transparent case back uses the moiré wave principle to print the opening scene of 007 drawing his gun. All of these features make this Seamaster Diver 300M particularly charming. Since its launch, it has been in high demand and is a representative of high value retention in the series.
According to data from WatchCharts, a high-end watch market research firm, the 007-themed Omega Seamaster 300M seems to be quite close to our impression of the secondary market price of a typical Omega watch. The earlier released 210.90.42.20.01.001 (007 limited edition) may have suffered from several marketing setbacks, coupled with its price exceeding that of the series' base model. Therefore, even at the peak of the popular watch market in early 2022, this watch didn't experience a surge in price, remaining roughly below the list price. After more than four years of continuous price drops during the period of stagnant market demand, the 210.90.42.20.01.001 (007 limited edition) was priced around $7,178 in September 2025. Furthermore, Omega also raised the watch's price in between, making its discount appear larger. Another model, 210.30.42.20.03.002 (the 60th anniversary edition of Bond films), is still quite popular in comparison—this refers to the fact that, compared to the listed price and the secondary market price, its secondary market price reached $6,922 in September 2025, although it had already fallen below the listed price for a while by then.
