A Coastal Meets Country Wedding

  • Primary school teacher Natalie, and Sam, an attorney, were married on 26 May 2018, inside a ceremony within the beautiful reading room in Salcombe, Devon, which is now the place to find Salcombe Library. This was then a reception within the light and airy assembly room of Cliff House, by using uninterrupted views from the Salcombe Estuary.

Natalie's imagine a dress was an attractive sleeveless lace bodice, along with a skirt with layer upon layer of blush pink tulle, all tied plus a silk sash in the waist.

"I loved the fairy queen quality from the dress. I didn't want anything too big and liked them very fact it would be a blush color."

Natalie also wore suede sandals along with a gorgeous, single-layer tulle veil, along with a bracelet, which she borrowed from her mum.

The bridesmaids looked fantastic in blush bridesmaid dresses, as well as wore fresh flowers in their hair, and carried posies of gypsophila flowers and roses.

In the song, Stand By Me, by Tracy Chapman, Natalie and her dad walked down the aisle to satisfy Sam. The couple first met online, through OK Cupid, coupled with their first date in July 2015.

"We moved in together after 1 along with a half years and were engaged right after that. We got engaged by Lake Como, in Italy and were married the next May."

"Our vows were all personal, and we didn't share all of them before the wedding. Sam's favorite among mine was 'Thank you for writing me written directions whenever I need to go anywhere.'"

"My favorite among Sam's was 'Thank you for pretending to understand nothing about technology to be able to help me feel useful throughout the house.'"

For readings, family and friends wrote words to share with the pair, whilst friends from the choir Natalie is a component of sang I Have A Dream, by Abba, and among her family friends sung the song Bless The Broken Road.

Sam looked smart inside a navy blue suit, with a pastel pink tie and white shirt.

Once the ceremony had concluded, everyone headed outside towards the terrace of Cliff House, with those amazing views from the Salcombe Estuary, and enjoyed cold portions of fizz and canapes.

"My favorite part of the day was walking into the wedding reception to You're The One That I Want, and being greeted with cheers and applause from our guests. We did a joint wedding speech, and I also loved the sensation of delivering the speech together, and making our family members laugh."

Dinner would be a tasty, laidback buffet barbecue feast, and Natalie's oldest friend made plenty of incredible individual cakes, decorated with icing and candied peel.

"Our family friend sang Moon River for the first dance. Everything only agreed to be amazing, it's so difficult to pick a popular part!"

As family members joined them around the dancefloor within the evening, others headed to The Pop Up Salon's glitter bar, to become suitably adorned!

    Words of Wedded Wisdom

"I would advise to not get too concerned about who to invite/to not invite. I spent quite a while worrying about this beforehand, but all I remember has fun with individuals I love."

"Go for which you want, and revel in being encompassed by all of your favorite people."
