Old School RuneScape continues improving the Chambers of Xeric

  • Old School RuneScape continues to stay busy on the news front with another round of Poll #71 improvements to the Chambers of Xeric and a release date for the next installment of the Myreque storyline.

On the Chambers of Xeric front, the latest patch has additional Vanguard improvements, metamorphs for the Vespina and Tektiny pets, and a new Twisted Ornament Kit for the challenge mode of the Chambers among some other updates.

Due to community polling, vanguard stats have seen some changes. For example, defense has been reduced, with HP increasing. Additionally, the melee vanguard’s high magic defense has been exchanged with melee defense. Aggro range and spawn positions have been tweaked as well, with the former being reduced. Finally, at least one Overload is guaranteed. However, more changes will come regarding HUD and more. In addition, our site z2u.com has a large quantity of safe OSRS Gold For Sale.

Chambers of Xeric has seen improvements as well, specifically, the following issues received fixes:

Rebalanced the scavenger beasts’ loot table to include a more reasonable amount of cicelies and endarkened juice.
Altered the positions of crystals in one of the crab rooms, to not be as much of a hindrance on raids efficiency.
Fixed an issue where players would be hit by Vespula’s melee attack if the Abyssal Portal died.

As for the next content update, will see the release of Darkmeyer, which will add the Sins of the Father chapter of the Myreque storyline and introduce players to the vampyre capital city of Darkmeyer and the Hallowed Sepulchre locations. To celebrate the upcoming release, Jagex is hosting a pair of competitions; one for a player-created login screen, and another for players who put together a story synopsis video of events leading to the latest chapter.
