Boss Powers and Their Use
Season 8 introduces a powerful mechanic—Boss Powers—which are earned by defeating elite bosses in Incursions and seasonal quests. These powers can be equipped before fights and used as special attacks or abilities, mimicking the powers of iconic bosses like Ashava, Avarice, and Belial.
You can switch these powers at the Seasonal Mirror, usually found in Kyovashad and major cities. Use them tactically:
Ashava’s Poison Breath: Ideal for AoE farming.
Lilith’s Wind of Hate: Strong against single bosses.
Sinerat’s Firestorm: Great for crowd control in Nightmare Dungeons.
💡 Certain Season Journey objectives require defeating bosses using their powers, so plan!
Gear Progression and Crafting
As you move into World Tiers 3 and 4, gear progression becomes crucial:
Focus on Legendary Aspects: Extract them from Diablo 4 Items loot and imprint on well-rolled rare gear.
Salvage everything: You’ll need materials for crafting and tempering.
Socket your gear: Gem slots add survivability and damage bonuses.
Tempering and Masterworking: Once you get into World Tier 4, these systems let you fine-tune stats for peak performance.
Prioritize cooldown reduction, resource generation, and cheap Diablo IV Items core skill damage depending on your build.
