Posted in the topic Are Schools Really Using Digital Signs Now? Here's What We Noticed in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    June 25, 2025 11:40 AM PDT

    Hey folks,

We run a company that designs and supplies digital signs for schools, and I just wanted to share something interesting we've been noticing lately.

A few years back, it was mostly big private schools asking about digital signage – you know, fancy displays for announcements, events, even student achievements. But recently, we’re seeing more interest from government schools and even small-town institutions. It kind of makes sense… Everyone wants better communication, and the old chalkboard or printed notices just don’t cut it anymore.

Some schools are using them for daily schedules, birthday wishes, exam countdowns, and emergency alerts. One school even displayed live scores during inter-house competitions 😄

Now, I’m not here to sell or push anything, but genuinely curious –

    • Do you think digital signs in schools actually help with engagement?

    • Or do students just walk by without even noticing it?

    • And if you're using one, what do you show on it the most?

Also, any pain points you faced (maintenance, power backup, readability in sunlight, etc.)? Would love to know how it’s going on your end. We’re always trying to make our systems better based on real-world feedback, not just spec sheets.

Just putting this out here to start a conversation. If anyone’s curious about how other schools are doing it, happy to share a few stories or tips. Let’s talk.

    Cheers,
    WiPath Communication Ltd
